Kelvin and his team did a fabulous job and were hard working, friendly and extremely efficient. Faced with some difficult circumstances, they continued to be professional throughout the day and stayed late, with no fuss, to make sure the job was done in one day.

Moving house can be very stressful but they turned it into a fun day!

Kelvin was recommended to me by a good friend and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in the future.

I can honestly say Allen and Young removals far surpassed anything I would have imagined from a removal company. They work very hard, carefully, and quickly. All the gentlemen who helped us were very personable and helpful. We had lots of items to still pack away on our moving day some heavy, some delicate, some big and everything in between, all packed and moved expertly. Without them our moving day would have been very stressful. When we arrived at our destination they unpacked everything where we wanted them and made sure we were happy before they left. I would not hesitate recommending them to my friends, family and everyone else and it takes a lot for me to recommend anything or anyone. Allen and Young were recommended to us and to say we were not disappointed is an understatement. If I could shout how amazing they were from a hill top so everyone could hear I would but since I can’t I write this very honest and accurate review.

Kelvin, and his team really set our house move off to a good start. They took the dishevelled state of our home in good spirits as we dismantled 16 years of family life. The only comments they ever made were compliments/ at both our old and our new house. They packed our fragile and electric items fantastically well and labelled everything clearly enough that we have had no trouble unpacking. And they cheerfully put up with the many boxes we had packed far less expertly. Kelvin did his best to keep the costs reasonable. It was a very long day and not one of the team complained or slacked. Our friends commented on how hard they were working right up to the end- traipsing up and down three flights of stairs

We recently moved from London up to Herefordshire. We had a large, four storey house which was full of furniture and objects acquired over a thirty year period We moved to a much smaller property and knew that it would be quite a task storing all the boxes and furniture.

Kelvin had accurately estimated what type of boxes and how many we would need. He planned to move us in two vehicles over a four day period. The move began on a Monday with Kelvin, Andy and a friendly team of very professional guys who arrived on time .

Moving house is extremely stressful but we were in excellent hands. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was polite, respectful and kind as they carefully packed their two large vans.

The unpacking of the vans at the new property the next day was as expertly done. The attention as to where and how to stack everything from the old home into the new one was accomplished with constant checking that things were going into the places where it would be easy to see the labels and find again.

We really can’t praise this company highly enough and wholeheartedly recommend them if you want a trouble free move by an experienced, kind and very professional crew

I cannot praise Kelvin and his team enough for helping us through the extreme stress that moving house always seems to put you under. We certainly feel that we were very lucky in being able to employ the services of Kelvin, Andy, Joe and the 2 lads for our long move to South Wales.

We had a few works of art to move, fragile ornaments and several items consisting of glass shelving so we required a removal company that would be careful, respectful and knowledgeable of packaging and safe transit of our goods and most certainly Allen & Young were excellent and completely faultless in carrying out this task.

As agreed, Andy, Joe and the 2 lads turned up on time the day before the move with all the materials needed and proceeded to carefully pack all the items that we required to take with us, mark the contents on the boxes, and put them on the van. All the lads were friendly and cheerful. Nothing was too much trouble for them even though a 10 hr day must've been tough they worked tirelessly until every item was on the van.

The following morning two vans headed for Cardiff and 5 cheery faces greeted us in our new home. Each item was placed in it's required room, not an easy task when moving from one 3 story house to another.

A 1st class job from a 1st class company. I truly doubt there is better out there.

A very professional service - they packed up my entire house, sorted out storage, dealt with removals and then my complicated phased returns as building work was completed in different bits of the house. They were meticulous in taking care of fragile items, all the boxes were clearly labelled identifying contents and which room. Friendly, helpful, efficient, hardworking, experienced, and value for money. I needed different parts of the house packed at different times, storage over a long period and part returns at various stages over a 9 month period.

I strongly recommend them - Kelvin, Andy and the team are very good at their job. They took all the stress out of a difficult time. Cheerful, always happy to deal with any awkward requests, I cannot fault them. If I ever need to move again, Kelvin is the first person I will call.

We are absolutely delighted to have found Allen & Young. Kelvin was efficient, courteous, helpful and professional from the outset. No difficult web forms to complete. He was able to assess our needs from simply talking them through. There was no unnecessary communication or harassment, simply an agreement with follow up confirmation. This was such a relief after the stress we had experienced from other companies.

On the day, Kelvin and Andy turned up punctually and showed consummate knowledge and care in the way they handled all the furniture. They gave us an expected time of arrival and confirmed a more exact time when they were nearer our house. My daughter, who received them, reported that the men were lovely. They carefully sorted and placed things where asked, making the chairs look as though they had always belonged and ensuring items stowed in the hall and garage were treated just as carefully. When we returned home after a terrible journey, we nearly cried with gratitude at what a good job Kelvin and Andy had done. Throughout the process, Allen & Young were gentle, polite, supportive and understanding. We would recommend them very highly indeed.

Allen & Young were recommended to us for our home removal in November 2013. They did an amazing job and so when my company needed to relocate its offices in London I contacted them again, to seek their help.  They were very prompt in organising everything, including a site visit to understand what the logistics would be, and of course for the quote (which was very affordable). On the day itself the team were amazing and made the stressful reloacation much bearable. I would strongly recommend their services. I believe they specialise in relocations from the UK to the Continent (Spain for example).  .
